Join Our Saturday Cash Count Team!

Are you looking to earn some extra spending money by working every other Saturday morning? Look no further - we have the perfect opportunity for you! The Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau (BMCVB) Gaming Division is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cash Count Team Member to assist our team by traveling to our gaming sites with another team member and participate in the daily cash count of charitable gaming activities.

About Us:

The Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau is dedicated to promoting the vibrant communities of Bismarck and Mandan, North Dakota. Through our partnerships with local businesses, attractions, and events, we strive to showcase the best of what our region has to offer.

Position Information:

• $18 per hour;
• Two to three Saturday mornings per month;
• 8 a.m. start time;
• End time between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.;
• Casual dress;
• Mileage reimbursement;
• Potential for additional hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Count, verify, and record cash accurately;
• Neatly and efficiently complete all required paperwork;
• Assist in preparing deposits;
• Report any discrepancies or issues to management;
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

As a part of our Cash Count Team, you will have the opportunity to train on-the-job and develop basic accounting skills. This position is perfect for those looking to earn some extra cash on the weekends while gaining hands-on accounting experience.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in cash handling, bank teller, bookkeeping, or accounting preferred, but not required;
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting;
• MUST have availability to work on Saturday mornings;
• Must pass a background check required by the Office of the North Dakota Attorney General;
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
